Embark on an extraordinary photography safari through Kenya’s most stunning landscapes, where you'll capture the beauty of Africa’s wildlife and scenery like never before. After your arrival in Nairobi we will journey by road to Shompole Wilderness Camp. As one of less than a handful of camps in this Maasai owned conservancy, nestled in the private wilderness of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, the crowds often encountered elsewhere are non-existent. With exclusive use of the camp, you’ll enjoy intimate, uninterrupted access to the breathtaking environment, with opportunities to photograph elephants, big cats, gazelle, zebra, and other wildlife from the renowned Shompole photography hide—an unbeatable vantage point for getting up close and personal with Africa's majestic animals and coming away with extraordinary images.
Next, we will travel by plane to the heart of the Lemek Conservancy, a lesser-known gem of the Maasai Mara ecosystem, where your stay at Mattikoko Safari Camp offers front-row access to iconic wildlife encounters. Here, in this uncrowded haven, you'll capture intimate shots of big cats, elephants, and a large variety of African fauna against the backdrop of vast, open savannahs and acacia woodlands. With professional photography guidance, every shot will bring Africa’s wildlife to life.
The adventure continues at the breathtaking Olare Motorogi Conservancy, home to abundant game and spectacular landscapes in addition to having one of the highest densities of lions anywhere in the world. You’ll stay at the five-star Olare Mara Kempinski, where luxury meets wild adventure. In this exclusive conservancy, you'll photograph cheetahs, leopards, and the famous Mara lions during golden hour, creating unforgettable images in one of Africa’s most picturesque settings.
This photography safari is designed for both amateur and seasoned photographers, with each photographer getting their own row in the safari vehicle. Guiding will be some of the best guides in the country, along with a photo instructor in each vehicle. This safari combines the best of Kenya’s wildlife, accommodations, and expert photography guidance for an unforgettable experience in the wild heart of Africa.

Photographers will be given extra baggage allowance for camera gear. Non-photographers will be limited to 15kg (33lb).

There are only six spots available for photographers. Two spots are available for non-photographers who are accompanying a photographer. That photographer will share their row with them on game drives. Non-photographers will be limited to one per vehicle. Access to the photo hide at Shompole for non-photographers is on a space available basis and is not guaranteed.
