January 2019 - Kenya Veterinary safari - This Safari has been specially planned for veterinarians and allied health and animal care professionals. Participation in this safari requires approval. We meet with veterinarians, conservationists, and researchers who are on the front lines working to save endangered species and their ecosystems.
February 2019 - Accompanied Private Kenya Safari - If you are interested in doing a private safari also, please contact us. We can arrange a safari where I will accompany you and provide photographic instruction and insight as a veterinarian in addition to the excellent guiding by one of our professional Kenyan guides, or you can choose to leave me behind and put yourself in the very capable hands of one of our guides. We do not make arrangements for self-guided safaris. We feel that you will not get your money's worth without a guide to bring to life the natural world and culture of Kenya for you.
June/July 2019 Kenya Photography/Conservation safari- Check back or email to get on our list to receive information on this itinerary soon. This safari is designed for anyone interested in observing and/or photographing East African wildlife up close in its natural environment and learning more about conservation efforts. Part of the itinerary will include not only a private visit with the orphans at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, but also overnight stays at the reintegration units where the orphans complete their transition back to the wild.
